  1.                USING CORRECT GRAMMAR WITH WORDPERFECT

  3. Correct Grammar opens WordPerfect documents and checks them directly.  For more information, see “Correct Grammar and Word Processors” and “Checking a Document Directly” in Chapter 2 of the Correct Grammar manual.

If you choose to copy all or part of a WordPerfect document to the Clipboard, Correct Grammar checks the Clipboard text and preserves the WordPerfect formatting and style attributes.  For information about the Clipboard method, see “Checking a Document Using the Clipboard” in Chapter 2 of the Correct Grammar manual.

  7. Using WordPerfect 2.1 and System 7.0
  8.  
  9. If you are using WordPerfect 2.1 and System 7.0 or later, you may find that you cannot start Correct Grammar by dragging your WordPerfect document to the Correct Grammar icon.  You can overcome this problem by rebuilding the Macintosh desktop.

  11. WARNING:   When you rebuild the desktop, any messages in the Get Info comment boxes will be erased.

  13. To rebuild the Macintosh desktop:

  15. 1.  Hold down the Command and Option keys while you restart the Macintosh.  A message appears asking you if you want to rebuild the desktop.

  17. 3.  Click the OK button.   Your Macintosh rebuilds the desktop.
